Ruth Eckerd Hall on the Road presents three incredible shows at the Palladium at St. Petersburg College, writer, producer and comedian Jeff Garlin, stand-up comedian favorite Kathleen Madigan and Grammy® Award winning trumpeter Herb Alpert with singer-songwriter Michael Franks. Tickets for all three shows go on sale this Saturday, July 28 at noon at the Ruth Eckerd Hall ticket office.
Coming to the Palladium Saturday, November 17 at 8 pm, Jeff Garlin's talent encompasses writing, producing, directing, acting and performing stand-up comedy. Garlin is most recognizable as both co-star and executive producer of the HBO series Curb Your Enthusiasm, starring Seinfeld creator Larry David. A Second City Theatre alumnus, Jeff Garlin has toured the country as a stand-up comedian. His first ever stand-up comedy special, Young & Handsome: A Night With Jeff Garlin, was shot at the historic Second City Theatre in Chicago and premiered on Comedy Central. Jeff also greatly enjoys working with Disney-Pixar Animation Studios where he most notably voiced the role of The Captain in WALL-E and he can also be heard as the voice of Buttercup in Toy Story 3. Reserved tickets are priced at $40 and $30.
Kathleen Madigan takes the stage on Friday, February 8 at 8 pm. In her 22 year career Kathleen Madigan has had countless appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Show with David Letterman, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, and every other late night show that has come and gone. She starred in her own specials on both HBO and Comedy Central with her recent Showtime special, Gone Madigan, in constant rotation. Madigan has won the American Comedy Award for Best Female Comedian, the Phyllis Diller Award for Best Female Comedian and remains the only comedian in the history of NBC's Last Comic Standing to go unchallenged by any other comedian--meaning no other comedian would say they were funnier than her. Reserved tickets are priced at $59, $49 and $39.
