The Eckerd Theater Company (ETC) is a professional theater for young and family audiences that tours throughout the State of Florida and the United States east coast and west to the Mississippi River.

Our productions are curriculum based; our acting ensemble is teacher trained and our educational materials provide valuable classroom activities via the study guides that are sent in advance.

EDUCATION SERVICES

Study Guides:
Study guides are available to view or download on-line.

Workshops:
ETC artists are trained to work with educators to explore ways to bridge the world of theater with that of the classroom. Using the National Standards for Arts Education, each workshop targets a specific age group and topic to demonstrate how the performance experience can be used to enrich the learning process across the curriculum. ETC interactive workshops include printed educational support materials tailored specifically to intensify the performance experience.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
ETC has performed in many types of spaces from community theaters and performing arts centers to school auditoriums, public libraries and festivals. To insure the best experience for the audience, tech requirements will differ by location. Please contact the ETC Coordinator if you have additional questions.
