Charity of Choice is a great way for companies to invest in our community while offering employees an opportunity to give to a respected, impactful organization.

Charitable gifts may be made through many different programs such as grants, matching gifts or in-kind services.  Companies may also elect to host a special event to benefit the Hall.

With your support we are able to provide programming and education for the arts in our community.

Holiday Hustle

5k Jingle Jog and Reindeer Tot Trots
Saturday, December 7, 2013, 8:00 am

Kick-off your holidays with a festive holiday family running event. Join us for our Inaugural Holiday Hustle featuring a 5k Jingle Jog and Reindeer Tot Trots. There will be fun for the whole family with hot chocolate, egg nog, Sea Dog holiday beer, Barefoot Wine mimosas, reindeer antlers and Santa hats. Also enjoy live caroling by some of Ruth Eckerd Hall's finest young students. Runners will enjoy a picturesque 5k course starting at Ruth Eckerd Hall, out to the Ream Wilson trail (East West trail) and back. Event presented by Design Sport. Event sponsored by TBT and Sea Dog Brewing Co. Proceeds benefit the educational programs offered at the Marcia P. Hoffman School of the Arts at Ruth Eckerd Hall.

Are welcome in the event and encouraged to participate. Walkers in our 5K race expecting to finish slower than a 15 minute per mile pace may be asked to walk on the sidewalks so that roads can re-open to traffic. Strollers okay, but start at the back.

Overall male and female winners.
3 Deep -Traditional age groups 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, etc.

Fashion Takes Center Stage

Fashion Takes Center Stage presented by Dillard's
Spring 2014 – Date to be Confirmed

Please join us for our fifth annual fashion show at Ruth Eckerd Hall to benefit the Hall's educational programs. This fashion show will feature the latest trends of the season, live entertainment and special guest appearances. Also enjoy special shopping discounts in the Dillard's Boutique located on-site. Dillard's will have door prizes for the lunch attendees. We will also have an Opportunity Drawing for a $1,000 Shopping Spree. (Chance Tickets are one for $10 or three for $20).

Landon Korabek OneLove Memorial JamFest

Spend the afternoon listening to great live music, enjoying delicious food and visiting with friends while celebrating the life of Landon Korabek.  Other festivities include a silent auction, 50/50 and a chance drawing.

Landon died May 7, 2010 at the young age of 17 from an accidental overdose of prescription drugs.  Proceeds from this event benefit the Marcia P. Hoffman Performing Arts Institute at Ruth Eckerd Hall and Narcotics Overdose Prevention and Education (NOPE) Task Force of Pinellas County.  Parents Susan and Greg Korabek established the Landon Korabek Memorial Fund to provide musical scholarships to honor Landon’s passion for music and to promote education about the dangers of prescription drug abuse. 

In addition to attending this event, you can show your support by purchasing ad space in the program book or include your company logo on the commemorative T-Shirt.  Ad space ranges from $150 to $25 and T-Shirt space ranges from $500 to $100.  For more information, please contact Susan Korabek at 727.638.3920 or email

Nearly 500 people attended the 2013 OneLove JamFest. Bands featured included Six Volt Rodeo, Horny Toads, Shenanigans and the Uncle John’s Band.
