Ruth Eckerd Hall 2011-2012 Special Events

Ruth Eckerd Hall offers a dazzling array of special events. Participation in these events helps provide need-based tuition assistance, work-study and talent-based scholarships for Hoffman Institute programs and to support Ruth Eckerd Hall’s commitment to present quality programming.


13th Annual Harvesting for Scholarships

Tuesday, November 1, 2011, 6:30 pm

12th Annual Harvesting for ScholarshipsThis annual event has become a wonderful fall tradition at the Hall. The evening begins with cocktails, followed by a seated dinner, live auction and special performances featuring current and former students of The Marcia P. Hoffman Performing Arts Institute. It is also an opportunity for Ruth Eckerd Hall to present The Marcia P. Hoffman Arts Education Award to an outstanding individual or organization and the Shining Stars Arts Educator Award to a superior arts educator.

Proceeds from this event benefit the Ruth Eckerd Hall Youth Scholarship in the Performing Arts and Tuition Assistance Programs. Sponsorship levels range from $10,000 to $1,250. Individual tickets are $100 each.

Stradivarius Society Gala

Stradivarius Society GalaThe Stradivarius Society supports the tradition of bringing national and international classical programming to Ruth Eckerd Hall and our community. An elegant evening for Stradivarius members and classical music lovers.

Guests will enjoy cocktails and a fabulous dinner in an intimate setting, followied by a performance by Itzhak Perlman, widely regarded as one of the pre-eminent violinists of the 20th century. Proceeds from this event are dedicated to the support and coninutation of classical performances. Sponsorship levels are available for $5.000, $2,500 and $1,000.

6th Annual Spring GalaJoin us as we transform our Main Stage into the quintessential Hollywood nightclub made famous by the celebrities that partied there from the 1920s to the 1940s. Guests will enjoy classic cocktails in the Ruth Eckerd Hall Grand Concourse, followed by a seated dinner on stage and dance to the timeless music of Billie Holiday and Frank Sinatra to our current artists of the day. This event benefits the arts education programs of The Marcia P. Hoffman Performing Arts Institute at Ruth Eckerd Hall and attracts more than 400 guests, including many prominent leaders in our community. Space is limited. Sponsorship opportunities range from $15,000 to $2,500.
