Ruth Eckerd Hall offers a dazzling array of fundraising events. Participation in these events helps provide need-based tuition assistance, work-study and talent-based scholarships for students of The Marcia P. Hoffman Performing Arts Institute and to support Ruth Eckerd Hall's commitment to present quality programming.
8th Annual Spring Gala
Friday, April 19, 2013, 6:30 pm
Join us for the eighth annual Spring Gala – Rio Carnaval and be prepared to have an evening of fun, fantasy and mystique! A cocktail reception and silent auction will be held in the Grand Concourse starting at 6:30 pm. A gala dinner and live auction will be held on the Main Stage beginning at 7:30 pm. Music bySouthtown Fever Band. Catering by Café Ponte. Black tie or carnaval attire is encouraged. Proceeds from the Gala will provide the critical funding needed to sustain the educational programs of the Marcia P. Hoffman Performing Arts Institute at Ruth Eckerd Hall. Tickets are $350 and $250. Sponsorships are $15,000 to $3,000. Seating is limited.

The April 2012 Spring Gala – Star-Gazing at the Cocoanut Grove celebrated the glamour of Hollywood's quintessential nightclub made famous by the celebrities that partied there from the 1920s to the 1940s. Seated dinner was catered by Café Ponte while guests danced to the music of the Southtown Fever Band. Major sponsors included The Forte Group at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, Clearwater Cardiovascular and Interventional Consultants and Creative Contractors.
