Clearwater’s Blast Friday returns Friday, March 27 with Blast Friday – Rockin’ by the Water presented by Bright House Networks at RUTH ECKERD HALL featuring a free concert starring John Cafferty of the Beaver Brown Band with special guests Stormbringer. This Spring Break themed, family friendly FREE street festival begins at 5:30pm and will feature vendors with merchandise available for purchase.
The first 100 kids age 14 and under will receive a free Capitol Theatre Frisbee. Food turcks and vendors will be serving a wide variety of freshly prepared specialty foods and beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. A special screening of Eddie & The Cruisers will be held at Ruth Eckerd Hall after Blast Friday. Tickets for Eddie and the Cruisers are on sale now!
A limited number of VIP packages priced at $20 are available, which includes a general admission ticket in the reserved section in front of the stage, two craft beers courtesy of Cigar City Brewing with a Capitol Theatre beer Koozie and post-festival admission to the movie screening of Eddie & The Cruisers. In addition, a limited number of SUPER VIP packages, priced at $50 are also available, which includes a general admission ticket in the first three rows in front of the stage, a meet and greet with John Cafferty, two complimentary craft beers courtesy of Cigar City Brewing with a Capitol Theatre beer Koozie and snacks in the private VIP area and post-festival admission to the movie screening of Eddie and The Cruisers.
