Elvis Costello Postpones Concert at Ruth Eckerd Hall On Saturday, September 17 - New Concert Date To Be Announced

September 12, 2011, Clearwater, FL - It is with regret and sorrow that Elvis Costello announces that he must delay the start of the next leg of "The Spectacular Spinning Songbook Tour" until the 24th of September in Atlanta. This is due to matters pertaining to the very serious illness of a close family member. This includes the performance at Ruth Eckerd Hall on Saturday, September 17. A new date will be announced as soon as it is confirmed. Ticket holders are asked to please hold onto your tickets until a new date is announced. Tickets will be honored for the new date.

A spokesman for the tour stressed that Mr. Costello's wife and children were in excellent health but declined to elaborate further hoping that people would understand the desire and need for calm and privacy at this difficult time.
