You can create your own memories inside The Margarete Heye Great Room, a 250-person capacity event space. This is the perfect place for any event – from corporate receptions to trade shows – and its claim to fame lies in weddings, recently receiving a 2021 Wedding Wire Couples’ Choice Award.

The magic begins for your guests as they approach the entrance. They will be greeted by beautiful upgrades to the exterior of the building – which includes state-of-the-art lighting and beautiful architecture.
The Margarete Heye Great Room was reimagined in 2016 with aesthetically pleasing décor including new paint, flooring, new bar area and upgraded lighting, sound and seating. A new contemporary chandelier completes the look of the room. The space is large enough to easily accommodate guests seated for dining and enjoy dancing. The dance floor can be installed in a variety of sizes and locations within the room.
Steps from the dance floor, outside the floor to ceiling glass exterior, is the patio and terrace overlooking the beautiful grounds at Ruth Eckerd Hall, where you may choose to enjoy cocktails or dessert, all under twinkling lights. This is also a great location for photos during the golden sunset hours.
Dine like the stars, where a four-star kitchen staff creates a freshly prepared menu in a state-of-the-art kitchen. The executive chef and his staff can prepare a wide variety of hors d’oeuvres, main courses and incredible desserts to suit your taste.
