Ruth Eckerd Hall’s Six-Lane Grand Entry Is Complete
(CLEARWATER) The latest major phase of the Expanding the Experience project which includes an expansive six-lane Grand Entry has been completed. The project, which began in June 2017, includes a new traffic pattern that leads patrons behind the marquee as they enter Ruth Eckerd Hall Drive. The main entry for the auditorium parking is located immediately to the right. Funded Life members and those who choose to use valet parking, will be directed to the next entrance. There is also a new designated drop-off area and a new route to the designated ADA parking areas.
There are now four lanes for patrons to use when they exit Ruth Eckerd Hall Drive. Two lanes will allow patrons to turn North onto McMullen Booth Road and two lanes will allow patrons to turn South onto
McMullen Booth Road.
“With the completion of the new Grand Entry, we believe our guests will have a stress-free arrival and departure from Ruth Eckerd Hall,” commented Susan Crockett, Ruth Eckerd Hall Interim President & CEO. “We look forward to the entire renovation being completed in the Fall of 2019.”
The $34 million ongoing Expanding the Experience renovation project currently underway at Ruth Eckerd Hall includes the expansion of the six-times larger Grand Lobby with stunning floor to ceiling windows, new live music locations at the Holt Family Stage at The Kate Tiedemann and Ellen Cotton Cabaret Theatre, The England Family Welcome Pavilion, a two-story Dress Circle member lounge overlooking the Grand Lobby and The Raymond James Financial Ticket Office.
