Peace, Love & Possibilities
A Benefit Supporting the Marcia P. Hoffman School of the Arts
Peace. Love. Legendary Music.

On April 10, a special group of Ruth Eckerd Hall friends came together to raise over $674,000 so that a generation of young talent can access quality arts education at the Marcia P. Hoffman School of the Arts.  With that level of generosity, it’s possible to sponsor a full year of study for a gifted student without the financial means, 130 times.  It’s possible to host a child with special challenges for an entire summer of arts camp, 180 times.  It’s possible to send a teaching artist year-round into a public school with stretched resources, 27 times.

Whether you attended that evening or participated from home, your generosity is creating possibilities in the lives of others that will leave a lasting impact.

Thank you for bringing the peace, love, and joy too!  Please enjoy the recap video below and check out the photo gallery from the night by visiting here.

Meet the Students Performing at Peace, Love & Possibilities

Every student at the Marcia P. Hoffman School of the Arts brings curiosity, creativity, and the potential to grow. Through professional-level training and a supportive artistic community, students gain the skills and confidence to explore their talents and pursue their passions.

Caleb — Jazz Drummer
Caleb has developed confidence, discipline, and focus — skills that carry into schoolwork and life. Jazz has strengthened his thinking, learning, and leadership. Most importantly, music has given him the confidence to step onto a stage and believe in himself.

Joe — Musician & Band Leader
For Joe, the school is more than a place to study music—it’s a community. He thrives on collaboration and has formed a band that performs local gigs. Guided by exceptional instructors, Joe is learning what it means to meet high expectations, stay disciplined, and show up prepared—on stage and beyond.

Jack — Jazz Musician
For Jack, the Marcia P. Hoffman School of the Arts at Ruth Eckerd Hall has been truly transformative. Before finding jazz, he faced learning and behavioral challenges that made it difficult to feel confident or settled. But through music, everything began to shift.
Jazz gave Jack a voice.
