Alice Cooper
Alice's Attic Tour
GRAMMY® nominated, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member & hard rock sensation, Alice Cooper returns to Ruth Eckerd Hall this fall for Alice's Attic Tour!
Alice Cooper pioneered a highly theatrical style of hard rock designed to shock, blending horror movies, vaudeville, and garage rock with stage elements like electric chairs, guillotines, fake blood, and boa constrictors. Known as the architect of shock rock, he continues to tour extensively—spending up to six months a year on the road—and remains active with new music, including his 2026 album The Revenge of Alice Cooper, a reunion with the original band and their first collaboration since 1973, again produced by Bob Ezrin. Beyond music, Cooper has appeared in major productions such as NBC’s Jesus Christ Superstar in 2018, numerous commercials, and continues to host his syndicated radio show Alice’s Attic, which earned him induction into the Radio Hall of Fame in 2025.
Formed in Phoenix after Cooper’s Detroit roots, the Alice Cooper band was signed by Frank Zappa in 1969, achieving breakthrough success with Love It to Death (1971) followed by classic albums like School’s Out and Billion Dollar Babies. Cooper launched a successful solo career starting with Welcome to My Nightmare (1975), later achieving major commercial success with the 1989 album Trash and its hit single Poison. His career also includes notable film appearances, a memoir (Golf Monster, 2007), and a 2014 documentary Super Duper Alice Cooper. Cooper’s influence spans decades of music and culture, with platinum albums, sold-out tours, and continued touring into 2026 showing no signs of slowing down.
