Digital Ticket Guide
Your Guide to Digital Tickets
Powered By True Tickets
Digital ticketing offers you the convenience of using your smartphone as your event ticket.
With the brand new digital ticket, you'll experience simple, secure entry to events at Ruth Eckerd Hall, The BayCare Sound, and The Bilheimer Capitol Theatre! Your tickets now include new security features and are as easy to access as opening an email.
For enhanced security and fraud prevention, digital tickets now feature a dynamic QR code that refreshes every 30 seconds. Screenshots and PDFs will no longer scan, protecting you from counterfeit or duplicate tickets.
Your digital tickets are now stored in your new digital wallet and are easily accessible on your phone. To access your tickets, open the link from your confirmation email, send an SMS text, or go directly to mytickets.rutheckerdhall.com.
Easily share tickets with friends or family through your digital wallet (if the event allows transfers). You can reclaim or re-share the tickets before showtime if needed.
How It Works
Buy through RuthEckerdHall.com - Complete your purchase as usual. The default method of delivery will be Digital True-Ticket Delivery. Your confirmation email will include a link to your digital wallet.
Open your mobile wallet - Click the link from your email on your phone or visit mytickets.rutheckerdhall.com. Use your Ruth Eckerd Hall login and password to sign-in to view your tickets.
Share at your convenience - Use the Share option to send tickets to your guests if the event permits transfers. They will accept the ticket on their device. Digital tickets can only be shared once.
At this time, tickets purchased at kiosk locations will still be available via SMS link. Kiosk tickets will not be displayed in your new digital ticket wallet.
Digital Tickets FAQs
Do I need a special app for my digital tickets?
No. You can access your tickets by clicking the link from your email or visit mytickets.rutheckerdhall.com to open your digital wallet. You can create a shortcut to your digital wallet on your phone's home screen for easy access.
For Apple: Click and hold the URL bar once logged in, choose SHARE from the drop-down menu, click Add to Home Screen.
For Android: Click the three dots and select "Add to Home screen." You will be able to Install as an app or create a shortcut to open in browser.
Can I still print my digital tickets?
No. We will no longer be offering PDF versions of tickets or static barcodes. Our digital tickets use dynamic QR codes that rotate on a timer so screenshots and printouts will not work. If you cannot use a mobile device, contact the ticket office in advance for assistance.
When do the QR codes activate?
4 hours before the event begins.*
*There may be exceptions for specific events.

Sharing Your Digital Tickets FAQs
How do I share tickets with guests?
Open your wallet at mytickets.rutheckerdhall.com and select the event. Choose Share, then send the ticket to your guest using their email or mobile number.
Do my guests need to create a Log in?
As a safety measure, they must log in to mytickets.rutheckerdhall.com to claim the tickets you've shared with them. If others in your group already have a Ruth Eckerd Hall account, they may use the same username and password to log in.
What if others in my group do not know whether or not they have an existing account or Login?
If anyone in your group is not sure whether they have an existing login, they can click the "Forgot Password"? or the "Register" button after following the link you shared with them to create an account.
How can I claim a shared digital ticket?
- Click the link shared with you
- Log in with your Ruth Eckerd Hall username and password OR create a new account
- Accept the tickets
How will I know if they were accepted? What if my guest does not accept the tickets I share?
Shared digital tickets are not valid until the recipient claims them. You may also reclaim your tickets if your guest changes their mind or does not accept them.
- Once you share a digital ticket, you will see one of the two following status notifications: Ticket Accepted by (Your Guest’s Name): Your guest has claimed your shared ticket(s).
- Ticket Shared with (Your Guest’s Name) Pending: Your guest has not accepted the digital ticket(s) yet.
You should remind them to check their email or text messages for the ticket invite link you sent to them. You may also “Share the invite again” or “Get this ticket back” in your digital wallet.
Do I need to wait until the barcode is visible/delivered to share my tickets?
No. If you see the share button in your digital wallet, you may share them, even if the QR code isn't visible yet.
Can I share tickets from a desktop or laptop computer?
Yes. You can copy the link into an email and send it to your guest. The link will redirect your guest to a landing page where they can claim the digital tickets.
My guest did not accept the ticket.
You can reclaim and re-share the ticket before showtime if transfers are allowed. Open the ticket and cancel the pending share.
