Mersiv - MorFlow Fest
with support from Caspa, Wreckno, Super Future, Seth David, Zen Selekta, Flozone, and RJ WLKR
Mersiv makes his headline debut at The BayCare Sound with MorFlow Fest, with support from Caspa, Wreckno, Super Future, Seth David, Zen Selekta, FLoZone, and RJ WLKR!
Mersiv, born Anderson Benoit Gallegos, has been a formidable force in electronic music since 2015, introducing audiences to his distinctive Pretty Dark Loud sound. His project is dedicated to offering listeners immersive auditory experiences that blend deep emotion with dynamic energy, inviting them into the present moment. With the debut of his album Pretty Dark Loud through MorFlo Records, Mersiv staked his claim in the Freeform Electronic genre. The album’s 20 tracks showcase his ability to meld emotional depth with a diverse array of sounds, from hip-hop to pop and bass, reflecting his personal journey and creative evolution.
Forever dedicated to the craft, never losing sight of what he’s always set out to do, Caspa has remained resolutely underground in his sound and his motives. One of the only foundation artists to stay loyal to the genre’s roots, he’s flown the flag for dubstep’s most important ingredients; original soundsystem soul, deep, innovative production dynamics and the coming together of kindred spirits who really treasure and understand this music.
From one of the most musically rich cities of the USA, you’ll find artist Nick Rowland, an integral player in the Detroit electronic music scene, shining with the vibrant look and sounds of his alias, Super Future. His style is a diverse combination of experimental bass, beautiful melodies, bright future-style synths, and hard-hitting dance beats all complimented by the occasional virtuosic guitar solo. With all of the genres his art blends, his range and originality are creating a larger and more impressive musical statement with each coming year.
From a small town in Michigan to being called one of “electronic music’s brightest rising stars” — Wreckno has continued to create a safe space for the LGBTQ+ community in the Bass Music/EDM genre. The queer rapper/producer/DJ has had an impressive year: landing the cover of DJ Mag North America; premiering a mini documentary with Billboard; playing landmark events such as Bonnaroo, Electric Forest, Lollapalooza; label releases with iconic brands such as Four Loko; and music featured in Fortnite and NBC Peacock’s “Queer As Folk.”
Nicole Gracia Barton, better known as Zen Selekta, crafts music that gracefully intertwines moody, profound, and shadowy elements withethereal melodies and global influences. Her creative flame is kindled by the diverse tapestry of life itself and under the moniker ZenSelekta, her ultimate goal is to create experiences that enrich lives, bringing joy, healing, and solace to many through her music.
Seth David is a dynamic DJ who has recently made a remarkable switch from crafting house music to creating infectious bass music. His innovative sound has taken TikTok by storm, gaining viral popularity and a rapidly growing online following. Seth's ability to seamlessly blend genres, captivating melodies, and pulsating basslines has earned him a dedicated fan base. With an electrifying stage presence and an unwavering commitment to pushing musical boundaries, Seth David is becoming an influential figure in the bass music scene.
Born out of a passion for penetrating bass and gritty leads, FloZone offers fluidity and aggression to anything he comes in contact with. Dirty south influences coupled with the obscurity of modern bass music shine through in all of his work, whether it be an original composition or a live music experience.
