THE MARCIA P. HOFFMAN SCHOOL OF THE ARTS HOSTS AWARD-WINNING CHILDREN'S MUSICIAN, ROGER DAY
With support from the Pinellas Community Foundation and our incredible membership base, Ruth Eckerd Hall and The Marcia P. Hoffman School of the Arts hosted a series of arts events for young audiences in the Spring of 2025 starring award-winning children's musician, Roger Day.
Events included a performance at The BayCare Sound totaling 377 students, with five Pinellas school groups, and countless other non-reserved in attendance, all elementary-aged. Another performance took place in the Murray Studio Theatre with 75 elementary-aged students from The dePaul School for Dyslexia. Other off-site performances/workshops reached approximately 300 elementary-aged students at Dunedin Elementary School.
Roger Day, an award-winning children's musician, has devoted his life to making sure that future generations sing loud, jump high, and--most importantly--dream big. His signature wit, whimsy, and wordplay have helped put smiles on the faces of kids from one to ninety-two. Roger believes that in order to "Build a Better World" we must start with children, for they are the future. Using the gift of music and laughter, he is doing his part to, as his signature song states, "make sure hope never ends."
