Science Gets Loud at the Nancy and David Bilheimer Capitol Theatre
"In science it does not matter if you're right or wrong, but if you learn."
Local school students were in for quite a show when Doktor Kaboom! took the stage at the Nancy and David Bilheimer Capitol Theatre for the Marcia P. Hoffman School of the Arts SchoolTime Series. For one action-packed hour, actor and comedian David Epley, the man behind the goggles, combined live science demonstrations with laugh-out-loud comedy to create an experience students won't soon forget.

Epley's love of science is the real deal. A graduate of the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics and a former Chemical Engineering student, he channeled that passion into a career that has taken him to stages worldwide; over 2,000 live shows and more than two million students and families in the audience over 16 years.
That kind of energy is exactly what the SchoolTime Series is all about: bringing the wonder of live performance into the lives of local students and making learning something to get excited about.
