Join us for our Summer of Sondheim! Our musical theater offerings will feature the work of Stephen Sondheim, with productions of Into The Woods & Sunday In The Park With George. We will also have a Sondheim themed musical revue for our middle school aged students. Musical Theater classes available for ages 11 and up.
Spend a week in the art room! Visual art classes available for ages 11-13.
Music classes are available for ages 11-14, offering lessons in Instrumental Jazz.

Musical Theater
Join us as we celebrate the legendary composer and lyricist, Stephen Sondheim. We will feature two of his shows with our alumni production and high school musical, as well as a musical review for our younger students.

Book by James LapineThe days leading up to the completion of his most famous painting, A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte, Georges Seurat is struggling to make meaningful art and maintaining a relationship with his lover, Dot. Amid the scorn of the artistic community, Seurat's artistic ability thrives while his love diminishes. A century later, Seurat's descendant – named George and also an artist – finds himself burnt out and in search of what artistic path to follow, but he finds the answer to his future in the past.

Book by JAMES LAPINEThe story follows a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone's wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results.

Drama
During our fun-filled drama camps, students will be introduced to the wonderful world of theater. We teach the basics of acting, character creation, and storytelling. Centered around a different theme each week, they will work together to write, design, rehearse and perform an original play for family and friends by week’s end. All that is required is cooperation, innovation, and imagination!

ONE WEEK CREATIVE CLASSES
On Camera "Lights, Camera, Action!" : Ages 11-14 : July 5-8 : 9am-3pm : Price is $250Join us and learn the basic tools of the best professional actors: improvisation, characterization, script analysis, and on-camera technique.
• You will learn memorization and imagination techniques that enhance other aspects of your life as well: imagination work, relaxation, stretching, breathing, movement, vocal exploration, sensory work, ensemble games and more.
• You will explore the most important ingredients of great acting, including: character development, urgency/heightened energy, specificity, discovery and subtext, spontaneity, vulnerability, creating relationships with other actors/characters and more.
• You will understand what “in the moment” means as an actor, learning to connect with other actors through improvisation and relationship building.
• You will discover things within yourself you may not have realized were there, will be surrounded by a positive, supportive environment in which to make new friends, and may even come away with that urge to explore a more professional path.

- Payment plans are available with credit card only.
- Drop-Off/Pick-Up Procedures: Procedures will be sent to you about one week prior to the first day of your camp.
